Thank you for the huge contribution to making my birthday celebration last weekend a special day to remember. We all had a great time, laughing, learning, eating and drinking. I can't think of a thing that I would have changed for that day. We will definitely be back for more


The Red Chef's Werner - where Nataniel meets Jack Sparrow! The wine and the laughs flowed as generously as the recipes and tips - what an amazing evening. The Cajun and the Creole were as spicy as Werner himself, an event to be spoken about for years to come....Still raving about last night - apart from the entertainment factor, the food was amazing!! The prawns and jambalaya were divine and the red velvet cake was heaven (would have been nicer with more icing but apparently licking the bowl in someone else's kitchen is frowned upon these days). Thank you again, Werner, for making us so welcome and for giving us such a fabulous evening!!

My mense kan net nie uitgepraat raak oor jou as mens en hoe jy die klas aangebied het. Ek het geweet ons gaan dit geniet maar nie besef so baie. Nogmaals baie dankie. En tot Vic wat ek oor bekommerd was, het dit so geniet. Baie dankie en ek weet jy gaan 'n groot sukses behaal in als wat jy aanpak. Lekker dag, Magda en die res.

Avant- Garde course - Just back from another culinary adventure with Werner Nieuwoudt (The Red Chef). This time we were treated to a generous helping of molecular gastronomy - a summer salad garnished with balsamic pearls and olive oil tear-drops (I unashamedly kicked ass making these little sugar glass pieces of art), then on to a delightful crispy monk fish dish with artichoke jus. The adventure ended in a treasure-trove of ice cream, kumquat crystals and fluffy apple clouds. Werner creates a pallet of flavours and colours in art you can't wait to sink a fork into but the real draw card is that you take the skills of the craft home. I can't wait to try my hand at tonight's menu...
